Let's Build Something Incredible

At JWC, we are passionate about driving growth for early-stage startups, growth-stage startups, and portfolios through innovative growth and marketing strategies and implementation excellence. We partner with our clients to bring their ideas to life, transform their organizations, and help them achieve and often exceed their objectives. If you are excited about shaping the success of emerging businesses, we invite you to join our dynamic team.

The Role

As an Account Manager at JWC, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients. Your role will involve managing client relationships, overseeing project execution, and ensuring that our clients' marketing and growth strategies are successfully implemented. You should be comfortable moving about the city to meet with clients and possess a strong understanding of the local market dynamics. Agency experience is a plus, as it will enable you to hit the ground running in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact and ensuring their needs are met. Client empathy and understanding: beyond just managing the relationship, you want to learn about their business and their challenges so you're not only a point of contact, but a partner/ally

  • Strategic Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring all activities are in line with short and long-term strategic goals. Ability to host clear and efficient client meetings, and can produce briefs, scopes of work, or proposals.

  • Marketing Strategy: Ability to understand the tactical pieces of a marketing strategy and turn it into a cohesive story for our clients.

  • Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of client projects, ensuring that timelines and quality standards are met.

  • Time Management: Quickly move from one project, industry, scope, or tool to another.

  • Communication: Be able to communicate based on your audience -- client decision maker, client stakeholder, contributor, etc. Know what tool to use for what communication -- email, Monday, Slack, meetings.

  • Local Market Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of the Philadelphia market to provide insights and recommendations that enhance client strategies.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, content, and creative, to ensure the seamless delivery of client projects.

  • Problem Solving: Address client concerns and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring that solutions are implemented quickly and effectively.

  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to clients on project progress, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
